Welcome to our wonderful waterfront two story home with an expansive waterview often including eagles, large blue herons and ospreys on Beards Creek just off the South River. Come kayak, swim, and fish and enjoy our hot tub overlooking the river. This is our own personal home however we have rented it out for special occasions. We are Superhosts with AirBnb so we know what our guests like. The house is on two levels joined by stairs. There are 4 bedrooms. On the main level of the house with the open floor plan kitchen, LR and DR are the large master bedroom with a king size bed and large master bathroom. Also on the main floor, the second bedroom has a queen size bed next to a hall half bath. Downstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with a Queen and another with a King sized bed. These share a full bathroom (bathtub and shower). There is even a pool table room. We will provide all linens and towels, which are largely brand new. Our guests and visitors always comment on what a wonderful night sleep they get. There are 2 large living room spaces, one on each floor, one each with a big sectional couch, L shaped and a big flat screen (48 and 52 inches).
Outdoor living at its best here. There is an outdoor deck as wide as the entire house, off the kitchen, DR and master bedroom. We have a gas grill, an outdoor large sectional L shaped couch with a large roll out awning to provide shade, and a large outdoor dining table that seats 8. An additional six can eat on the couch. And there is a screened in porch with dining table that seats six. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy. We have a patio off the dock and table and four chairs from which to watch your family swim and enjoy the sailboats and water-skiers. We have two single kayaks for your use. On the dock are two very comfortable Adirondack chairs that we use when we fish off the dock. There is a large gas grill to cook up those hamburgers, chicken, fish or steaks for everyone. The yard is large, you could play croquet. We have a great outdoor shower, fully enclosed for privacy, shampoo and soap and beach towels provided!
If you want to bring a boat with you or rent one during your stay there is a marina very nearby, so let us know and we may be able to accommodate a boat at the dock.
If you would like us to pick up a few foods for you or have food delivered here via Giant or Safeway or Whole Foods we could ensure the food is here, and refrigerated if you order it the day before you arrive. Our kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments. We know what it is like to come from afar for such a special event so we want to make it as easy as possible for you.
